Family Insurance was founded in 2002 with a commitment to provide insurance service to the communities of Johnston County and the surrounding areas.  Originally located in the Flowers Plantation area outside Clayton, NC.  From humble beginnings it has steadily grown with the Johnston County community

Don Waters started in the insurance industry in 1994.  He has years of experience writing Personal Lines, Commercial Lines, Property, Liability, Health, Life, Disability, and IRA Accounts.  Don holds the LUTCF designation from the National Association of Finance and Insurance Advisors.  He has sold insurance in multiple states.  Prior to entering the Insurance industry, Don served in the US Army for nearly six years and obtained a degree in business.  He worked in the Banking Industry with both National Banks and Credit Unions.  Don also holds a North Carolina Mortgage Broker's License and has represented many of the national lenders, offering a diverse mortgage portfolio of products.
